My ping pong journey began during the summer of 5th grade with my best friend. For an entire summer, we played ping pong all day and N64 by night (Goldeneye, Caves/Proximity Mines). I continued playing as a camp counselor at the Hingham Rec Center in high school. I played sparingly throughout college and post-college. My passion was reignited when I moved down to Philadelphia in 2014 and found a pong table at Frankford Hall. Being undefeated for my first 10 trips there, I finally found a group of players who could beat me. I got their numbers and started going to “The Hall” regularly, leveling up my game. When I heard that SPIN Philadelphia was being built, I knew I had to be involved. I began working there as a waiter, but once I started to beat some of the pros (Thanks Logan and Brian! 😉), SPIN offered me an opportunity to become a PRO myself. I continue to work on my game and love helping others improve their games too!
