My ping pong journey began when my dad set up a portable ping pong net for the little art table in our basement in 2007. Two years later, when I was around 9 years old, some friends and I started taking ping pong classes after school. I loved it so much that my family eventually got a full-sized table at home, and I started taking lessons at the local ping pong club. After competing locally for several years, I took a break from competition to try out other sports such as soccer, cross country, and track and field. However, I continued to play ping pong with friends in my basement all the while, and before long, my itch for competitive ping pong came back. After moving to Seattle for college, I became a regular at local ping pong clubs and community centers. I have continued to hone my skills by training five days per week, competing in tournaments and league events, and working as a SPIN PRO!
