How to Block

HOW TO BLOCK

Blocking is one of the best defense techniques, allowing a player to use the opponent’s force against him/her.
Therefore, we had to put Soo’s skills to the test against a very special character who’s particularly well known for his reflexes. Hosted by Soo Yeon Lee.

MINIMAL MOVEMENT

It occurs immediately after the ball bounces on your side of the table. It should take minimal movement so that you can retain maximum control and speed of the ball.

RACKET ANGLE

When the ball comes to you, quickly adjust the racket angle depending on the severity of the top spin. The more top spin There is the more you should close the racket.

NO WIGGLE ROOM

Being essentially a cut-down drive, there is very little backswing and follow-through.

FOOTWORK

Having quick footwork is crucial! Because if you aren’t in the correct position, you won’t be able to block the ball back in.
