How to Book Your Birthday Party
Booking a birthday party at SPIN takes five steps.
- Pick your city in the venue directory.
- Send an inquiry through that venue’s private events page.
- Share your date, guest count, and any timing requests, including options outside normal operating hours.
- Receive a quote from the venue’s event team, as SPIN does not publish event capacities, per-guest event prices, or minimum spends online.

Private events are available for any group size, with spaces ranging from a private room to a full venue buyout. SPIN parties can include spacious layouts, full-service catering, and custom entertainment to match your gathering.

What a Birthday Party at SPIN Includes
Social Play and Tournament Organization
SPIN Pros lead competitions, tournaments, and social play during your event. Every skill level is welcome, so beginners and experienced players can both jump into a match.
Your party includes Stiga paddles and unlimited balls. Staff keep ball baskets stocked so play is uninterrupted while your guests move between games and conversation.
Beyond ping pong, guests can enjoy other games throughout the room. These games include tabletop shuffleboard, Atari Pong, giant Connect 4, and giant Jenga. Your friends get more ways to play together between ping pong matches.
Event Features
SPIN parties can include flexible table configurations to fit how your group gathers.
For music and toasts, you can request house DJs and an audio/visual system for presentations or music.
Guests can also capture photos at photo booths or explore interactive installations.
Small Groups, Milestone Birthdays and Full Buyouts
Options range from individual table reservations to private rooms and full buyouts.
Table Reservations and Party Packages for Small Groups
For smaller gatherings, table reservations accommodate 2 to 10 guests for social play. You can book tables in advance through our table reservations page.
Groups of 4 to 20 guests can book party packages on most weekends, from Friday evening through Sunday at select venues. These packages are bookable 30 days ahead and provide a bar package, stationed food, a section with dedicated ping pong tables, extra seating, and unlimited balls. Package prices vary by venue, and you can view package availability on our Chicago party packages page.
Private Rooms and Buyouts for Milestone Celebrations
For a larger milestone birthday, you can reserve a private room or arrange a full venue buyout. SPIN can also host outside normal operating hours.
You could run a birthday bracket with the guest of honor as top seed, or organize doubles matches with mixed teams. You could also gather everyone for a group photo at a photo booth, or lead a toast with music from the house DJ.
Food and Drinks from the Scratch Kitchen
Executive chefs cater SPIN events on site from a scratch kitchen of shareable, snackable plates, so you do not need a separate caterer.
Full-service bars pour craft cocktails, premium spirits, and other drinks.
Menus label avoids-gluten, vegan, and vegetarian items. The kitchen uses dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, nuts, fish, and shellfish, so guests should tell the party planners about allergies.
Other Celebrations at SPIN
SPIN is a spot for birthdays, reunions, and lively nights out. Our venues host milestone birthdays, bar and bat mitzvahs, and just-because bashes.
Outside of birthday parties, SPIN also hosts corporate events. You can also plan seasonal office celebrations through our holiday parties page.
For events in Canada, you can explore details on our dedicated Toronto birthday parties page. If you want to buy a present for the guest of honor, gift cards are sold through SPIN’s gift cards page.
